During my internship with experiences designer Pedro Pineda at betahaus Barcelona, I was developing together with Pim Van Der Mijl a introductionary workshop for everyone, who wanted to start working in "El Taller" –with or without previous knowledge about woodwork. The aim was to create a program, that is helpful for all levels of newcomer and ensures the safe and independent workflow within the workspace through a shared and short- time experience.  My part in the project was mainly to develop the practical implementation of the workshop of how to use the tools and machines. The challenge was to design an object, that participants can actively use after they have built it during the course to encourage their motivation of building and crafts. This way they could take the knowledge plus "a thing" home. Moreover it was important that all essential routines of woodworking and machine- using where be included in the building of this box. This was a big part in the design process of this workpiece.
