„Klapp“ is a “grounded“ chair. Just by unlocking one site, the seat and back-rest are folded out of one plain face. The ten single parts are milled with CNC technology. Therefore the loss of material is kept to a minimum. Hinges are used as the splice as well as they allow the folding.
To increase the already comfortable sitting, three changeable paddings are included in the seat. They disappear inside the backrest when the seat is folded. The pockets reduce the weight by one third.
„Klapp“ is a smart solution for a seat made for relaxing situations, like a conversation round after a Yoga class. It is easy usable and stackable and no assembling is needed.
In the future, it is the ambition to construct „Klapp“ even more light and thinner than the current 5cm. Thereby and because of its small size of 40x40 cm it is the aim to create a seat, which fits in a bag and is easily portable for the use during outdoor activities, like bike tours, festivals or camping trips.

Made of oak and steel, the two tables are thought and made to be outdoors.
The matt varnished and hot-dip galvanized steel frame is bold to the massive oak planks, which are ruff sanded and then got a surface treatment with oil.

The ergonomic designed, Z-shaped furniture is conceived to lean against for a rest. It is made of plywood and both stands are stainless steel, for strength and protection. There are three different types to produce the seat: wooden rod, stainless steel rod or leather.
Most of the times, designing with wood means to add, in this case, the bench was cut out of a mass. In this case this mass is an oak trunk. Leaving the outside within its natural shape gives a great contrast to the smooth inside, all cut with one tool, the chainsaw. The five seats are the same form and angle, just twisted around one axis.

Play with the form! Both puzzle are based on a trichotomy of the inner square. The thirds are tripartite again, so diagonal lines could be found.
The choice of colors is the same in every puzzle, just differently arranged, to create a harmonic, rural and calming expression.
In the manufacturing process I used CNC technique and laser technology.

The concept was developed for a play-area in a historical museum. The puzzle are 1.5 meter high and got historic plate-motives printed on them. Therefore a UV-digital print technique is used. The plates can be turned and so every piece can be puzzled. All pieces are magnetic and stick to the front.
The whole game is build with a multi-layer lightweight building board which keeps the benefits of a wooden toy.

These experimental bowls were made by a combination of charcoal and time.
